The bureau of missing persons that governs all missing persons in the world has a new record on it's hands. One person has been missing for almost 10 sighting was in a town of the former Yugoslavia called Ljubljana, Slovenia. Reports of ''2 m.c.'s and a DJ with old school breaks'' were wintnessed expressing the form of this missing person. Reports are the bureau has finally given this person years now. Although this person has been reported to have been seen in various places, the strange phenomenen is that it has yet to be positively identified, until now. The last current name given by the bureau is registered name HipHop. I had the chance to witness this sighting of hip hop recently and I have to testify, it might compare with the sightings of Jesus in the wilderness or on some Mother Theresa steez. My feelings were alive again and suddenly I was reminded of days past. Memories of m.c. battles on Melrose Avenue and open mics and DJ battles at ''Colour Ware'' , where a night of under age drinking and rhyme styles will get you caught by the cops once in Ventura,California. The time of the early 90's was one of pure hip hop originallity. We had Pete Rock&C.L. Smooth, and who can forget Lords of Brooklyn or M.C. Search ''Back to the grill again'' Remix. Los Angeles hip hop trio Ugly Duckling is here to save the masses from destruction of culture and remind us that hip hop still exists to day. We need Ugly Duckling to remind us that hip hop isn't Tupac or Biggie. Hip Hop can't be one person or group, and it can't be mass produced and it doesn't deserve to be bottled and sold worldwide. Hip Hop is better than that, hip hop gives us life and fuels our dreams, it's more than just our music. On a night where hip hop was witnessed in this town of 250,000 people with there own language, other than english. DJ's K'Pow, Fu, and JAMirko displayed the ultimate in proper proceedures by spinning some of the dopest cuts from the days of indestructable microphone wreckers. Crews like Radyoyo are holding it down while the rest of the world catches up to it's own existence, contemplating expression. The impact for the people who witnessed this event will be felt for years to come. Hip Hop may be missing but it is alive and well in Slovenia.
